2. Guest Speakers
Mandy Greening, Jen Bertucci, and Erin Bourne from the Bowmanville Hospital Foundation presented the “We Care, We Can” campaign.
Highlights included plans for a new state-of-the-art hospital with private rooms, a rooftop helipad, and expanded services including Nephrology and Critical Care.
They are fundraising for a $1.5 million X-ray machine and explained that while 90% of construction is government-funded, 100% of all equipment and 10% of the hospital build must be community funded.
