1. Celebrations

• Congratulations to Sharon Davidson on winning the lucky draw!

2. Announcements

• Bowmanville Rotary STREET EATS – June 28 (11 AM – 9 PM) & June 29 (11 AM – 7 PM) at Garnet B. Rickard Recreation Complex. Admission $2. Volunteers needed.

3. Switchover Ceremony

• Janice Jones passed the gavel to Connor Visser, now President of the Rotary Club of Courtice.
• Mellissa Murphy sworn in as Community Services Chair.
• Nancy Philip sworn in as Secretary.
• Catherine Foy delivered a heartfelt thank-you to Past President Janice Jones, who was gifted a custom Blue Jays/Maple Leafs jersey in appreciation.

4. ClubRunner Update

A new page is now live featuring President Connor Visser’s message and Card Bingo event information.

5. Upcoming Events

• Card Bingo: July 30 & August 27, 2025 | 6:00–8:00 PM | $25/person. Invitations go to previous attendees first, then public.
• Blue Jays Game: August 16, 2025 | $95/ticket. Billing to be issued in July.

6. Community Support

• $150 donation to Alzheimer Society in memory of Betty Carr’s husband.
• $1,500 donation to Ontario Shores’ Adolescent Eating Disorder Clinic for seating and creative supplies.

7. Club Focus for 2025–2026

This year, the Rotary Club of Courtice embraces Rotary International’s theme “Unite for Good” with a dedicated focus on youth in crisis, mental health support, and homelessness.

Under President Connor Visser’s leadership, the club will lead with empathy, act where support is needed most, and collaborate with community partners to create sustainable, positive change.
