1. Announcements & Fundraisers

• ⚾ Blue Jays: Tickets are now officially SOLD OUT!
• 🥍 Oshawa FireWolves: There are 30 tickets remaining for the March 28th game.
• 🃏 Card Bingo: The event was a success, generating a total profit of $451.59.

2. Club Dissolution Discussion

At 6:15 PM, Niecy Dillon (District Governor for District 7070) and Terry Caputo addressed the members regarding the vote to dissolve the Courtice Rotary corporation.

• Marie Visser provided a detailed explanation for the dissolution, citing declining membership, financial hardships, work commitments, and various life events.
• The distribution of raised funds will be handled in strict adherence to Article 14 of the Rotary Bylaws regarding financial responsibilities upon dissolution.
• District leadership will assist with the dissolution process and support members who wish to transfer to other Rotary clubs.
• Discussion was held regarding club property (podium, flags, banners); these items may be donated to the Clarington Heritage Society, the local library, or the Bowmanville Rotary Club.
• Niecy Dillon will provide a report on other Rotary members residing or working in Courtice to determine the feasibility of a future club restart.
• A final appreciation meeting will be held in June with Niecy and Terry in attendance.
