1. Announcements & Club Business

• 🎉 Lucky Draw: Congratulations to Mellissa on winning.
• 🃏 Card Bingo: Scheduled for Oct 22, 6–8 PM at $25 per person. Menu expanded to five options. Gift cards already donated. “Find the Joker” and 50/50 draw proposed.
• ⚾ Blue Jays Outing: Jays organization now requires $1,000 deposit per game for 2026 pricing. Club voted to submit a $2,000 deposit.
• 📊 Financial Review: Club financials reviewed.
• 🧂 Road Salt Fundraiser: Website sales (10% return) or onsite for higher profit. Supplier will accept unsold returns. Pet/environmentally safe salt. Connor to confirm bag size, pricing, and location options.
• 🎬 Movie Night Fundraiser: "Now You See Me: Now You Don’t" – November 19, 7–9 PM at Landmark Cinemas, Whitby. $20/person. Tickets now online. Sponsors welcome to offset theatre costs.
• 🎗️ Polio Flag Raising: October 6 at 9 AM. Janice has the flag.
• 🍽️ Governor General’s Meeting: September 25 at Tilted Glass, Bowmanville. Fellowship at 6 PM, buffet dinner at 6:30 PM. Cost: $20/person.
• ⛳ Golf Tournament: Harmony Creek proposal: $104 per player incl. buffet, golf, cart. Charge $150 for profit. Hole sponsors $100. Shotgun start with prizes. Exploring alternative courses too. Connor to research more options.
• 🍴 Gathering Place Dinner: October 10 – volunteers needed.
• 🏒 Oshawa Generals: Suite not available, but Medallion Lounge is an option for Dec 28 game vs. Peterborough Petes.
• 🎯 Children’s Games (Durham Police): Club will donate $500 (same as previous year) to support the 41st annual event.
• 🧠 Trivia Night: Fundraising idea introduced – details to come.
