Theresa is currently the Administrative Assistant to the Director of Planning for the Municipality of
Clarington. Theresa has held this roll since January of 2016. Prior to this, Theresa has served in a variety
of leadership roles in both the engineering consulting industry and legal industry.

Theresa currently resides in Bowmanville with her husband and two children aged twelve and
seventeen. Prior to moving to Bowmanville in 2007, Theresa has lived and worked in Toronto, On.
London, England and is originally from Johannesburg, South Africa.

Beyond her professional career and family time, Theresa volunteers her time with the Clarington Ravens
girls’ softball team and enjoys attending classes for yoga, quilting and cooking.


Udana Muldoon

Udana currently manages the Oshawa ODSP office. She also is the Policy and Program Analyst for PFLAG Canada Durham Region. Prior to working for the Ontario Government she was a counsellor for women who were abused.

Udana has lived in Courtice for the past decade. She has lived in various communities and cities. Her partner and 3 children are actively involved with various sports and activities.

In addition to her volunteer work with Clarington Ravens, Udana has been highly involved with various community organizations she designs and implements Diversity and Inclusion workshops. She was a Diversity Ambassador for PanAm games.

We meet at Whitecliffe Retirement Residence in Courtice by the Medical Centre at Hwy#2 and Varcoe Road in the lower level multi purpose room. Our meeting starts at 7pm with dinner which you and Theresa will be our guests for and ends at 8:30 pm. You will have 15 minutes to present and then field questions. Important to know going in that our budget is set in May/June of each year as a Rotary calendar years runs July1-June 30 so you will not get an answer right away. What we will tell you in January after our elections take place is if the new executive is considering your ask for their budget or not. Does that make sense or is it clear as mud?

Our apologies it has been a busy time of year. The next available Thursday evening meeting is October 26th. I am away on vacation that day but will be in attendance on Thursday Nov 16th which is the next available. We could put you in on a Friday morning if you want sooner. We have Friday November 3 but that is from 7-8:30 AM!

Good evening Udana, I can't promise anything as each President sets their budget in May of their year which runs from July 1-June 30. We do however have many community connections as I was mentioning to your wife. If you go to our website courticerotary.org you will see our meeting schedule which consists of Friday mornings and Thursday evenings. Give us a couple of dates that you are available to come speak and we will schedule you in.

My name is Udana and I am the manager of the Clarington Ravens. You were speaking to my wife at Tara's ball game last night. The Clarington Ravens are starting up this year. We are finally bringing, fast pitch to Clarington. The Ravens team was starting because 3 Courtice girls has to part ways to play rep ball for the 2017 season. With this now in our community, we can develop our girls in our own community.

I was wondering if the Rotary Club had the capability to sponsor or support us in some way. I would love to talk to you further about this opportunity.
