We would like to thank you for reaching out to assist us. Due to the overwhelming support for our lap blanket initiative, in 24 hours we have far exceeded our goal of 30 blankets and have over 70 committed! Today we emptied the shelves of 3 local stores and have distributed wool to over 45 knitters and chrocheters leaving us with no more kits to distribute.
As of now we have closed this request but we will repost when we are ready to open up for more assistance with this great cause. If you have wool of your own that you would like to use to create a lap blanket we would be happy to arrange a porch pick-up from you. We want to thank you for offering to help us!

Participate in knitting a blanket please. I read that rolls of yarn will be dropped off for me and that I can knit a blanket. Is that correct?
